Lawrence Snow Sr.

1945 - 2026

Lawrence Snow Sr., beloved husband of Maryann (Demoranville), passed away peacefully on March 25th at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 80 years old.

Born on September 4, 1945, in Middletown, Lawrence was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (O'Donnell) Snow.

Lawrence had a love for the outdoors. He loved to camp, hunt and fish with his family. He also provided a farm to raise cattle for his children to show at the fairs. His love of gardening was well known. He always had a large garden that he was very proud of. He would often give away what he grew. He grew Geraniums for Memorial weekend and donated some of them to the East Haddam senior center. When he retired from Jarvis Airfoil, Inc. he enjoyed going to the East Haddam Senior Center to work out and socialize.

In addition to his devoted wife Maryann, Lawrence is survived by his two children, his daughter Kimberly Czaja (Michael) form Higganum, and his son Lawrence Snow Jr. From Fort Oglethorpe, GA. His brother Michael Snow form Cromwell, CT He is also survived by his 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, with a calling hour from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St, Middletown. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery immediately following the service.

Lawrence will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the lasting memories he leaves behind.
