Lawrence B. "Larry" Sodeman

Predeceased by his parents, Roy Sodeman and Gloria Duclos. Brother, James Sodeman. Sister in law, Debbie Sodeman.
Survived by his loving wife, Carol Sodeman. Daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Werth, Kristina Sodeman, Kelly (Robert) Hernandez, Kimberly (Gary) Conley, Kerry (Dennie) Schaubroeck.
11 Grandchildren. 4 Great grandchildren. Brothers, David (MaryEllen) Petri, John (Rose) Sodeman, Kevin (Joanna) Duclos. Sisters, Debra (Bruce) Armstrong, Robin Sodeman.
Larry was an avid fisherman his whole life, often saying "the water is my sanctuary". He loved to work in his garage, working on different projects, which he often gave away to friends and family. He joined a Rocket Club and built many rockets with the help of his friends. He loved to gamble, especially the slots and was always scratching off a lottery ticket. He also loved poker, he played in tournaments and held a game at his home every Friday evening for many years.
He loved to show off pictures of the fish he caught as well as the things he built in his garage.
He will be missed by his family and friends. ??
Friends may call 3-6pm, Friday July 14, 2023 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) On Saturday morning, friends and family will meet at the Lake Ave. gate of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at 9:45am. A funeral service will be held in Christ Our Light Mausoleum at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626 in memory of Larry.
