Lawrence Edward Trittschuh "Larry", passed away on November 7, 2025 at his home in Andover with his loving sisters by his side.

Larry was born to Jim and Bea Trittschuh on September 27, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio. He attended school in Kettering and graduated in 1980 from Fairmont West High School.

Larry lived for football season. While only playing in 8th grade, he was a lifelong Ohio State fan. This was in part, due to a cherished memory he had of going to the iconic Ohio State football stadium in Columbus, Ohio with his dad when he was a teenager. He spoke of that trip often.

Larry was passionate about music. His eclectic taste spanned many genres but at the end of the day, it was classic rock that was a prominent on his playlists. He played drums as a young man and mostly guitar later. His appreciation was not only for the music itself, but for the stories behind the songs. He called them useless facts you didn't know you needed to know.
And then there were the conversations he recited from scenes from Monty Python, Seinfeld and of course his all time favorite The Andy Griffith Show.

For 10 years Larry traveled with the Big Apple Menagerie, an international modeling troop. He became the technical director and sound man for the shows. He took a lot of pride in his hard work. The traveling group of 10-12 became a close-knit family. His sister Lori also was a part of that group keeping actual family close as well.

Once off the road, he worked at a machine shop by day and evenings he worked backstage at the Fraze in Kettering, attending to and escorting stars such as Ray Charles and Hall and Oats. In 2008 Larry came to Wichita, Kansas and here he remained. He worked at the Prairie Rose Chuckwagon Supper, again wearing several hats, from groundskeeper to wedding set up and tear downs to scooping ice cream at the shows.

He then went to Textron to work on interiors of high-end jets and aircraft. He loved that job and earned the admiration of his co-workers and bosses for 14 years. His extraordinary work ethic, common sense approach, fun and quick witted personality has made him deeply missed by many there at Textron.

It was in 2010 that had his greatest achievement, her name is Lily Grace Trittschuh, his girl. His heart was completely consumed by this baby girl. So much so in 2016 he needed a new heart to hold that much love. Larry received a heart transplant in 2017 giving him 9 more years to love and be loved by his Lily Grace, his greatest joy. Larry is now with his Lord and Savior. As family and friends came to see his smile one last time, he would say with a fist bump, "See you on the other side." Nothing would please Larry more than to know that you are sure where you will spend eternity. Don't just hope to go to heaven, be sure.

Larry is survived by his daughter Lily Grace Trittschuh; sister Lynne Bradford(Stuart); sister Lori" JW" Johnson(Greg); niece Melissa; nephews Colton and Tyler and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Oscar Trittschuh and his mother Beulah Marie "Stocker" Trittschuh.

A memorial gathering will be held at 2:30 p.m.,on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Prairie Rose Ranch in the Cassidy Building, 15231 SW Parallel St, Benton, KS.

Memorial donations in Larry's honor may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E Rockhill St #403, Wichita, KS 67206
