TYREE, Lawrence Lee, 84, of Varina, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie; brother, John R.; and sister, Roberta Collins. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Shirley Tyree; daughter, Brenda Crain (Ralph); two grandchildren, Jason and Lisa; brother, Andrew (Mildred), stepson, Glenn Bailey (Terry); and four stepgrandchildren, Jason, Tyler, Tara and Deavon; and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Bon Secours Hospice and his caregivers, Sandra and Marcia, for all their help and support. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 911, Sandston, Va. 23150.
