Lawrence Welp Obituary
Lawrence John Welp, age 88, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born in Newport, Kentucky, on July 21, 1937, to the late Bernard and Muriel Welp (née NeKamp).
Lawrence was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Welp, as well as his parents, Bernard and Muriel Welp. He is survived by his loving children, Larry (Tracey) Welp; Melissa (Brian) Dryer and Amy (John) Dorsey; Scott (Addison) Welp; and a cherished legacy of 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by a host of other family members and friends.
Larry had a passion for traveling and enjoyed following local sports teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds, as well as supporting UK sports.
