Tupelo- Lazette Puckett, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1945, to Weaver Murphy Farrar and Louis Cockrell Farrar; she grew up surrounded by the love of a close family who shaped her kind and steady spirit.
Lazette was a devoted member of Priceville Baptist Church, where her faith remained constant throughout her life. She cherished quiet moments with a good book, found joy in simple days at home, and lit up whenever she spoke about her grandchildren. Her family was her heart, and she poured her love into each of them in her own gentle way. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, warmth, and devotion that will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Curt Frensley, Rhettford Puckett and his wife, Leigh Anne, and Grayson Puckett; grandchildren, Noah Frensley and his wife, Ryleigh, Belle Puckett, Peyton Puckett, Gavin Puckett, and Lazette Puckett; and a great-grandchild, Ruby Frensley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Weaver Murphy Farrar and Louis Cockrell Farrar; brother, Dennis Farrar; ex-husband, Larry Puckett; and infant twins, Murphy Ray and Benda Kay Farrar.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring the life of Ms. Lazette will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Bryan Collier officiating. Burial will follow at Priceville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Richey, David Cerniglairo, Noah Frensley, Mark Blackwell, Peyton Puckett, and Gavin Puckett.
