The news that Lea died saddened me more than I can express. Lea was woman so filled with life, energy and enthusiasm. She was a caring person who always put others before herself. Lea began her career as administrator during a time when the NJDOE was demanding change; however, Lea always accepted the responsibility to implement new regulations. Also, she provided support to ensure that our teachers and administrators were equipped to successfully enact new programs associated with the new regulations. It was a privilege to have known Lea as a coworker and friend. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers will always be with Lea and her family.
