May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

Leah was a selfless caring person, always willing to help. She was my mentor my first year of teaching and was such an inspiration. She always encouraged me to stay true to myself and helped me improve as a teacher immensely. I will miss her smile and laughter and her way of not sweating the small stuff. I was blessed to have known her.

Ms. Leah was such an amazingly strong and reassuring influence to all her students during the COVID shutdown and virtual learning, and I´ll never forget how she talked with my child Jinja, the only student in first grade multiplication, when they´d meet for their one-on-one math classes online, conferring like old colleagues with so much support and respect! She was a wonderful influence on my child and I´ll always be grateful to her.

Leah was a great friend to me in good and hard times. We shared a love for teacher and were colleagues. She was my "work mom". Always there to encourage me and give a hug on bad days. She inspired me to be a better teacher and person. I am blessed to have known her. She was a blessing from God.
