Leann R. Farley, age 58 of
Portage, IN passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 in
Munster, IN. She was born on February 14, 1964 in
Gary, IN to Lee and Patricia (Chirila) Ewing.
Leann is survived by her loving Husband Robert Farley; Daughter, Valerie Farley; Son, Joshua (Tegan Ortiz) Farley; Mother Patricia Ewing; Brother, Scott Ewing; Sister, Sherry (Tim) Brown; Grandson, Liam Farley; Granddaughters, Waverly Farley, Felicity Farley; 16 Nieces and Nephews; many Great Nieces and Great Nephews; several Aunts/Uncles; as well as lots of extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by Father, Lee A. Ewing; Brother, Mark A. Ewing; Sister, Lori Ann Ewing.
Leann graduated from Portage High School. She was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years leading troop 364, it was a passion of hers that she cherished for a life time. She loved her dogs Friday and Paisley who were her constant companions. Along with her pets she enjoined the company of her family especially her grandchildren, in which she was able to achieve her life goal of seeing them be born. She was an avid photographer, known for not leaving any moment with out a picture. Leann and Robert were able to vacation with her beloved grandchildren and family on several occasions visiting; Dolly Wood, Wisconsin Dells, and Indianapolis to the children's museum, to name a few. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue,
Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
