LeAnn Marie Finley

The funeral service for LeAnn Finley, 71, of Salem, South Dakota, will be 12:00pm, Monday, March 16, 2026, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Katie Pauly officiating. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. LeAnn died Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home in Salem, SD.

Visitation will be 2:00pm-5:00pm, Sunday at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.

LeAnn Coyne was born on May 1, 1954, to Francis and Evelyn (Petrich) Coyne in Webster, SD. LeAnn went to elementary and high school in Bristol, SD. She later took the two-year secretarial program at Northern State College in Aberdeen, SD.

She married Roger Finley in Aberdeen, SD on April 7, 1979. They had three children, Aaron, Benjamin, and Rachel.

LeAnn worked in various offices in Aberdeen including Administration at Dakota Midland Hospital and Verifications. She also sold Avon for over ten years. When she retired, she moved to be closer to her grandkids whom she loved to spoil.

LeAnn loved reading, playing games on Facebook, and writing to her hundreds of pen pals.

Grateful for having shared LeAnn's life are her husband, Roger Finley; children, Aaron Finley, Benjamin (Jami) Finley, and Rachel (Paul) Longhenry; grandchildren, Jerry, AnnaLee, and Louise Longhenry, and Rowan and Asher Finley; and her sister, Ardis Schiley.

Preceding LeAnn in death are her parents, Francis and Evelyn Coyne; brother, Charles Coyne; brother-in-law, David Schiley; and nephews, Daniel Schiley and Jacob Finley.
