Mrs. Leann Wills Ridgeway, age 46, of Buchanan, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Mrs. Ridgeway was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy came from raising her children and creating a warm, loving environment for her family where all were welcomed. Leann had an innate ability to nurture and support those around her, making her home a sanctuary filled with love. Leann was particularly fond of growing flowers and gardening, often found working outside spending time with the beauty of nature. Her passions extended beyond her green thumb; she cherished spending quality time with her beloved family and embarking on travels that brought her joy and memorable experiences.
Leann was preceded in death by her father, Howard Lee Wills, Sr., and her brother, Howard Lee Wills, Jr. Their legacy lives on through the love and memories that continue to resonate within her family.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Edward "Dale" Ridgeway, and their precious six year old son, Jaxon Ridgeway. Leann also leaves behind her mother, Theresa Callahan of Felton, as well as her step-children Brandon, Angel, Olen, Michaela, and Chyanne; several grandchildren who were dear to her heart. Her sister, Charity "Sissy" (Dennis) Swindall, and her nieces, Hayley Swindall (Gauge) Hamilton, Breanna (Chris) Tucker along with her nephew, Tyler Hamrick, also carry her memory forward. Leann is further survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Howie and Tammy Ridgeway, and many great nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish the moments they shared with her.
A visitation to honor and celebrate Leann's life will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Salmon Funeral Home in Rome, GA. A graveside service will follow at Dugdown Baptist Church Cemetery in Buchanan, GA, starting at 2:00 PM.
Leann Wills Ridgeway will be remembered for her unwavering love, her nurturing spirit, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
