Leanne Malik Obituary

Leanne (Godish) Malik, 64, of Latrobe, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at her home. Born July 17, 1959 in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Kosker) Godish. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Erie Insurance Group and had previously worked at Kennametal, Inc. She enjoyed watching WVU football, sunny weather in Florida and cruising. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Riley. Leanne is survived by one son, Aaron J. Malik, and his wife, Leanne, of Morgantown; one daughter, Ashley R. Malik and her fianc, Ryan Mayall, of Port Richey, FL; one brother, Jeffrey G. Godish, and his wife, Karla, of Pittsburgh; two grandsons, Brooks and Cooper; a niece and nephew, Adrienne Godish and Matt Godish; and her longtime companion, Leonard 'Glenn' Barchanowicz. At Leanne's request, there were no public visitations or services. Private entombment was at St. Vincent Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
