Mrs. Leba Douglas Jones, age 95, entered into rest on Thursday evening, November 27, 2025 at Springhill Assisted Living of Pageland. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2025 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by the Honorable Rep. Pastor Richie Yow and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born February 25, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Horace and Cora Hurst Douglas. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jones served her community as a clerk at the DMV. Mrs. Jones was also a member of Hopewell Baptist church for over 50 years. Leba loved her church family and cherished the many years she spent serving the Lord at Hopewell.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Rembert Jones; brothers, Horace Douglas, Jr., Elwyn Douglas; sister, Helen Douglas Taylor; nephews, Dennis Douglas, and Billy Taylor.
Survivors include her brother, Leon (Kay) Douglas of Chesterfield, SC; nephews, Jonathan Douglas of Chesterfield, SC, Graham Douglas of Chesterfield, SC, Larry Douglas, Alton Douglas, Keith Douglas, Barry Douglas; nieces, Linda Tolson, Janice Rogers, and Patsy Ashley.
Memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, P.O. Box 66, Chesterfield, SC 29709; or to the charity of one’s choice.
