Lee Brian Chavkin, owner of Cousins' Clothing, of Norwalk, CT, passed away on March 10th, after a brief Illness. Lee was born on August 29, 1949, in Stamford, CT. He was preceded in death by parents, Ida and Louis Chavkin of Stamford.
Lee is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Cohen) Chavkin of Norwalk, brother, Barry (Joyce) Chavkin of Stamford, sister, Linda (Edward) Matisoff of Plano, TX, and brother-in-law, Alan Cohen of Santa Monica, CA.
Funeral services will be at Agudath Sholom in Stamford on Thursday, March 13th, at 11:30 A.M., with burial services to follow at Congregation Sinai, Farwell Street, West Haven, CT.
Donations may be made to: Yale Cancer Center, 333 Cedar St., New Haven, CT. 08510. Arrangements are under the direction of Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.

A wonderful memory of my youth was Cousins Clothing Store in the 70's.

I remember Lee well. Always went to Cousins for a tuxedo back in the 70s. Rest in peace and thank you for the fond memories.
