Dorothy "Lee" Cordray, 94, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Lee worked for the state of Kentucky 40 years, where she managed the Northern Kentucky office of the State Department of Employment Services in Covington. Her first job was that of a teacher in Mason County and her last job was as a travel agent known as "LeeAloha Worldwide Travel." Lee was a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and later established two scholarships. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Campbell County Historical Society and Campbell County Library Board, and was very active in her church. Lee enjoyed her cat, gardening and traveling, mostly on cruises.
Lee was born September 24, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH to Lin Lee Staab and Dorothy (nee: Gerike) Staab. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin Lee Cordray, daughter Diana Lynn (Bowsher) Cordray Schwab & brother, Donald William Paul Staab.
Lee is survived by her son in law, Douglas Allen Schwab & sister in law, Sara Staab. Lee is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday, May 19, 2025, at First Christian Church of Fort Thomas, Fort Thomas. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church, with Rev. Ron Sinclair officiating. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Fort Thomas, 1031 Alexandria Pike, Fort Thomas, KY 41075.
