Lee Andrew Davis was born on November 23, 1953, in Lexington, Kentucky, husband of Molly Johnson Davis. He passed away June 5, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Davis and Geraldean Taylor Davis; his brother, Juan Manuel Davis, and his son, James Derek Davis. He leaves behind one daughter, Sondra Dean (Shane); and stepsons, Timmy and Danny Davis; and a special daughter-in-law, Harsha Ganatra Davis. Lee loved to talk to people and never saw a stranger. He was a good-hearted soul and would give anyone his last dollar. In his earlier years, he raised tobacco and cattle. He loved to ride horses and visit different places. He also loved to try out new restaurants and was always willing to take anyone who wanted to go. He was a good storyteller and talked about the good old days. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Mulcahy officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Devin Adams, John Trevorah, Danny Barnes, Rodney Johnson, Brayden Adams, and Brayden Peel Bond. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Lee and his family in their time of need.
