I worked with Lee at Roosevelt high school for 33 years as a math teacher. He was very efficient as head of the math department, a wonderful coworker and a very good friend. I am sorry for your loss.

Lee was my uncle, my buddy, my Chicagoland closest relative. We had many a good time together, whether it was over a meal he enjoyed, watching movies or going to our yearly art show excursion to Navy Pier. He was well traveled, well spoken and very inspiring. I enjoyed our time and will miss him greatly. The memories will be something I can cherish forever.

I, had Mr. Fermoyle for Algebra my freshman year (1966-7) and for Geometry my sophomore year. He was a good, inspiring teacher and taught me well enough that I discovered on my own Bayes Theorem, the heart of statistics during m junior year. I later learned was it was when I took my first Statistics in college.
