Lee Nora Helen Thome

Lee Nora H. Thome of Grand Ledge,
Passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 92. Lee Nora was born on October 24, 1930 in Lansing, MI, daughter of the late Frank and Thelma (Niles) Pardee. Lee Nora worked for Green's Apparel as a manager for 34 years, and also Reitberg Reality in Grandville for 5 years as a sales associate. She attended the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Ledge. Lee Nora had a very spunky personality, and loved to organize neighborhood parties. She was known for her love of Christmas, spoiling the family with her baked goods, and decorating her home. Lee Nora enjoyed gardening, painting ceramics, collecting precious moment's figurines, and the Detroit Tigers.
She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Gary) Wichman of Eaton Rapids, Lee Ann (Greg) Smith of Charlotte, Michelle (Greg) Hutchinson of Lansing, and Larry (Angie) Mock of Glendale, AZ, daughter-in-law, Barbara Mock of Fairdealing, MO, grandchildren: Matt (Jennifer) Wichman, Amy-Lyn Ovalle, Bethany (Dan) Buescher, Erin (Hunter) Wyble, Nikki (Mike) Payne, Brandon (Hilliary) Pereida, Eric (Lindsey) Buffington, Nichole (Steve) Ayers, Shardee Hector, Amanda (Abe) Valdez, Kyle (Maddisen) Hutchinson, Troy Adams, Jason Adams, and Bradley Mock; great grandchildren: Julianna, Kaelin, Brooklyn, Skyler, Logan, Avery, Noah, Eli, Marley, Ari, Willow, Cody, Adrianna, Audrey, Lila, Niamh, Caleb, Noah, Landon, Lucas, Tinley, Jayla, Madden, Braxton, Logan, Ricardo Usrita and Tyler; great great grandchild, Neveah. Lee Nora is preceded in death by her parents; husband, of 25 years, James Thome; son, Jeffery Mock; brothers, Frederick Pardee and Frank (Virginia) Pardee.
A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, Grand Ledge with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will take place from 9:30 to 10:00 am on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI 49012
