Lee Styron Jr. Obituary
Roma “Lee” Styron Jr., 73, of Morehead City, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.
In keeping with Lee’s request, no formal services are scheduled.
Lee was a loving and dedicated husband, stepdad, and friend to so very many that can’t all be listed.
He was survived by his wife, Linda Whitfield Styron of the home; sisters, Joy Styron of Washington, NC; and Cindy (Tim) Buck of Newport; sisters-in-law, Marie Jacobs of Raleigh and Sandra Whitfield of Newport; and his beloved Jack Russells, Owen and Omie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roma Lee Styron Sr. and Catherine Willis Styron, as well as his stepson, Adam Barefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Swansboro Rotary Foundation, 394 Yacht Club Run, Newport, NC 28570 for “Adam’s Closet”.
