Lee Wayne Teel

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025 Lee Wayne Teel passed away peacefully in his sleep. After almost 15 years, he was finally able to tell his wife no and get the last word in. He is survived in life by his wife, Amy, who he loved more than life itself. Kids Josh, Ashley, Madi (Eli) and his beloved Finley. His dad Larry (Yun-hi), brother Shawn (Shay) and cousins from Texas to Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina. He is proceeded in death by his mom, Pat Cannon, and two cousins along with his beloved Logan and Jake Teel.

He was born in Germany, but Morehead city North Carolina was considered his home. He was a military brat who decided during desert storm to enlist in the Navy. He was very proud of the time he spent on the nuclear submarines and the fact that he was an EOD. He was able to see many beautiful places during his time in the service. When he got out. He returned home to North Carolina, where he was a very proud, single father, raising his kids. He eventually moved from North Carolina to Wichita Falls, Texas, and after a few years of being here he met the love of his life at her job. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, jokes, and Amy always getting her way. He never could tell her no and even while he was getting ready to gain his wings, his number one concern was for her.
