Lee Wise Obituary

Lee Angus Wise, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 80. A long-time resident of Guyton, Georgia, Lee was born on August 9, 1945, in Savannah, Georgia, a beloved gentleman known for his hard work and love for life's simplest pleasures.

Lee was a dedicated logger, working tirelessly alongside his family in their business, Wise Logging. His work ethic and dedication were unparalleled, and he took great pride in the company that carried his family's name.

Beyond his career, Lee found joy in gardening, and relished the simple pleasure of sipping a steaming cup of coffee. On weekends, you could find him watching a NASCAR race and enjoying time with his family.

Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Gail Wise, and his parents, Lee Angus Wise Sr. and Helen Wise.

His memory will be cherished by his three sons, Travis Wise (Sarah), Gary Wise (Daphne), and Brandon Wise, his brothers, Gerald Wise and Alan Wise, along with his nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

A visitation in Lee's honor will be held at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a graveside service will occur at Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road, at 12:00 pm.
