LeeAnn Redmond Obituary

LeeAnn

Redmond

Holladay UT- It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of LeeAnn Redmond (Case) on December 14 2023. Lee lit into this world like a firework on February 2, 1941 in Annabella, Utah to Glen L. Case and Wilma A. Pierce. She met and delighted the life of Donald Frank Redmond and together they brought 3 children into the world - Dony, Mindy and Roby. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandparents, sisters Janet Norman & Darlene Anderson, brothers Bobby Case & Rodger Case. She is survived by children Dony (Susan) Redmond, Mindy (Tony) Haws and Roby Redmond. Siblings Joyce Taylor, Sheila (Ron) Evans, Gordon (Claudia) Case, Sherrie Childs, Penny (Wayne) Robison and John Case. Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren Marty (Karan) Spegar, Miesha (Mike) Redmond, Ty Hofhine, Raquel (Cory) Comstock, Brock (Alyssa) Redmond, Scottie (Kara) Redmond, Tennille Hofhine, Tayleigh Hofhine, Mazia Blair, Brynley Comstock, Tannicxs Hofhine, Bowdy Comstock, Nixon Hofhine and Waylen Redmond.

Lee was an avid traveler and was the life of the party around the world. She was kind, beautiful, spirited and drew the attention in every room. Lee was a woman of many talents- a natural seamstress that could draw her own patterns from visualization to completion. When it came to her knack for clothes she was known for her extraordinary fashion sense- a true icon. Consider yourself lucky if you were able to bask in the warmth that her spotlight cast down.

Lee was devoted to her family and after her own children, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought her the most happiness. She was a spark of joy in many lives, and the memories of her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone while listening intently, her infectious laughter, her fingernails, and her style will live in our hearts forever. In the eyes of the world, she may be the woman in Guinness World Records, but to us, she'll forever be the cherished heartbeat of our family - our beloved mom, grandma, and friend.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 21 2023 at 1pm with a visitation for friends and family from 11am - 12:45pm. Visitation to be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Dr. The funeral will proceed to Memorial Holladay Cemetery, 4900 S Memory Ln.

I just found out today a year later. I´m heartbroken. I went to school with her kids. She was the sweetest lady ever. I remember seeing her at many car shows. Now I´m old and we ran into each other at the doctors office. We had the same doctor. I´m so sorry to hear this. My deepest condolences

Lee was my next door neighbor for more than 50 years and always a charming and exuberant friend. Whether as a nightclub hostess, a harried mother of three children, the world-traveling and world-record-holding Fingernail Lady, or fellow church member on Sunday mornings, she was a class-act lady who progressed far beyond her small town start. I miss our morning encounters at the mailbox or over the trash cans each week. I look forward to seeing her again.

I met LeeAnn when her grandson, Brock, was in my second grade class at Parkside Elementary. She came in to the classroom and showed and talked to the class about her nails. I have not forgotten her after all these years as she was kind and a joy to meet.

To all her children. This is such a hard day for you. You´ll never understand the love of you mother until she´s gone . I still pick my phone up so many times to call my Mom. Roby, she loved you so much. Thanks for always being by her side. I called her often, & she would tell me all you´ve done. She was my Moms best friend, & now they are together again. Love all of you. I won´t be able to make it today, but I´ll watch it. I fell, & I´m on crutches. Not good on them. I am going to miss her so much, she was like my other Mom, after my mom died, actually always. Your all in my prayers, & I love all of you.
Love, Deb (Moffat) Quayle

Hi, I was a young girl working at Ross when it was by Fashion Place Mall and then in Fort Union. She would come in every Tuesday to shop. Making sure I gave her the discount. She was so good to me, infact one year I told her it was my birthday and she let me pick out a skirt and bought it for me. She is the best. She would tell me about what was going on and new with her. I remember a car accident where her nails broke. She was so upset about it. She would tell me about her process of cleaning and coloring her nails. She was the best. I have thought of her many times and tell my children of the cutest woman named Lee. Always hoping she was doing well. Much love for you and your family. She was a wonderful woman.
