Legacy Glass Atkins

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Legacy Glass Atkins, 5 months of Cincinnati, Ohio. She left this world peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025. Born on June 22, 2025, in Cincinnati, she was the beloved daughter of Nashem Glass and Takasia Atkins.

Legacy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Damiyahn Verrett; her great-grandfather, Michael Williams; and her great-grandmother, Jacqueline Atkins. She is survived by her devoted mother, Takasia Atkins; father, Nashem Glass; and her cherished siblings: Legend Atkins, Lyric Atkins, Lei’lani Glass-Atkins, Naamiah Glass, Naomi Glass, Nahmir Glass, Khyair Glass, Maleah Glass, and Bailey Killings. Additionally, she is lovingly remembered by her maternal grandmother, Tameron Atkins; paternal grandmother, Tina Knox, Great-Grandmother, Debra Verrett, Great-Grandfather, Lionel Harris; aunts Damesha and Tacara Atkins, Demi; uncle DJ; Great-Aunt, Tierra; Great-Uncle, Taj Harris; cousins Treasure and Tailynn Willis; as well as many other family members and friends who will continue to hold her memory in their hearts.

Although her time with us was brief, Legacy brought endless joy and laughter to those around her. She found delight in watching Bob the Train, always smiling and radiating happiness. Born prematurely, Legacy showcased tremendous strength and an indomitable spirit. She had a playful nature, often seen chewing on her fist, a testament to her curious personality. She was surrounded by love from the very beginning.

A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 24, 2025, with a visitation from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
