So very heartbreaking to hear of her passing. She & I were the best of friends from 3rd grade, into our 20's. We lost touch with one another and I'll regret not reaching out after all of these years. Last time I saw her, Rebecca was about 3-4 yrs old, standing on a chair, helping her Mama wash dishes.
LeighAnne wass a witty, kindhearted person who cared about everyone around her. My heartfelt condolences go out to Rebecca, Erik, and Mr. Whipkey, as well as the rest of her family, friends, and those LUCKY enough to have ever crossed LeighAnne's path. A great "light" has been dimmed, and I will miss my friend, dearly, as I have these past years, but will, forever, have our childhood memories to smile & remember her by. May God bless & keep her. Until we meet, again, my friend. "

Oh my heart is so saddened to hear of her passing. I loved that woman. We met many many years ago when our children were young. Living next door to eachother made the relationship so special. We had many adventures and she was one of the kindest people i have known. Becky, my heart goes out to you. Your mom loved you so very very much. I think of you often. Blessings to you as you move forward. You both remain in my heart
