Leila Pearson-Agbenou Obituary
Age 15 of Becker, MN
Was called home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Left to mourn her presence are her Grandma Titi, Grandma Susan, Grandpa Ed, Mom ~ Carrie, Dad ~ Armel, Sisters ~ Samara and Danica, Uncle Tim, Aunt Brenda, Good Friend ~ Sasha; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Leila loved making cocoa bombs, yoga, the color pink, was highly intelligent, and adored all things Japanese ~ especially Anime. She was creative, artistic, and found joy in making beads and jewelry. Leila was an avid reader and liked going to Barnes & Noble and shopping at "five Below". She was also sweet and loved "My Little Pony", but don't confuse her sweetness for weakness. She was honest and stood strong for social justice and was adamant that you saw and heard her point through to the end. Leila will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her. A memorial service to honor Leila will be held at Riverside Church in Big Lake. The time will be forthcoming.

I learned so much from Leilani, shes the sweetest, kindest and purest soul I ever met. She loves everything in life and she was so damn smart, it´s been a year and I still can´t believe it. She saved me. The poetry she made was so amazing and I miss her so very much. I send her love and her family love also. Fly high baby girl

me and leilani were roomates and we stayed up playing card games and giggling till lights out. staff were always telling us to quiet down. we would do pendulum readings to see who would date each other. she was always smiling and thinking of positive things. she was always wrapped in a blanket eating hersheys in school. we'd work on math together everyday and finished geometry early. she would eat candy and watch my little pony on her dvd player everyday and she loved pink. when i first met her her birthday had just passed and she had a huge cake. she would eat a bunch of it everyday so they didnt throw it away. she was always there for me and made sure i was okay. she always put others first. i love that angel and i know shes watching everyone now and leading us to success. rest in piece leilani.
