Leila Truesdale Obituary
Leila Jeanette Truesdale, 80, of West Columbia, SC passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was born in Lee County, SC to the late Selma and Zella Hinson.
Leila loved trips to the beach and mountains, lounging in the sun, and camping with her family. Her family will always remember that she was one of the hardest working people you would ever meet. She always made sure to provide for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, John B. Truesdale of West Columbia, SC; daughter, Laura C. Warren of Gaston, SC; sons, Thomas W. Kelly of Gaston, SC, Keith Truesdale of Kansas City, KS, Wayne Truesdale of Pelion, SC, and Caleb J. Truesdale of West Columbia, SC; 14 grandchildren; and cousin, Loretta Beard.
Celebration of Life for Leila will take place on Saturday, April 8, from 11:30am – 12:30pm in Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd. Lexington, SC 29073. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Leila's name.
