My brother Tom and I loved Leland's wonderful stories of our grandparents and growing up on the farm. I remember our family seeing him off at Union Station in Kansas City on his way to Vietnam. Thank you, Leland, for your service to our country and patriotism. We will miss you and your good humor. The Lord is near to all who call on Him. (Psalm 145)
