Lemuel Earl Johns

Lemuel Earl Johns age 87 of LaBelle, Florida passed away at Hope Healthcare in Lehigh Acres, Florida after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.

Earl was born on October 3, 1938, in Nahunta, Georgia to John Lee and Orie Edith Allen Johns. Earl was an ordained minister for the Church of God for over 27 years, retiring in 2000. Earl served his country in the Army National Guard. He was District Overseer for a few years. He continued learning about the Lord throughout his career. He was always willing to discuss the greatness of the Lord with anyone who would take the time to listen.

Earl leaves fond memories with is loving wife; Alfreda Johns of LaBelle, Florida, his sons; Keith Johns and his wife Mary, Ken Johns and wife Melissa Johns, his stepchildren; Robyn Hand and Don Hand, his adorable grandchildren Jacklyn Johns, Skyler Thompson, Brianna Johns, Spencer Johns along with nine great grandchildren, his brother and sisters Ray (Pat) Johns of Lake City, sisters: Linda Craft and Moena Edwards He also leaves fond memories with countless church members and other friends that he made throughout his life and career in the Church of God Organization.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Orie Edith Johns.

A celebration of Earl's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 13, 2025 at Community Harvest Church in LaBelle. .
