Lemuel Joyner

Professor Joyner was one of my favorite professors. He taught me in several art classes at St. Mary's College in the 1960's. I remember him as a caring teacher who helped students both in art and in reaching their inner selves. I always connect him with "Ode to Joy" which he played frequently while we were engaged in art projects. May he rest in peace.

Barbara, Linda just shared this with me. My sincere condolences and prayers are lifted for you and your family. Lem was one of my true and gifted brothers. Barbara and Family, so sorry to learn of Lem´s passing but I know he was ready. I have fond memories of Lem when we lived together on Thomas St. sharing art work and being good friends during all those years. You are all in our hearts, memories and prayers. Nancy & Hank Mascotte
