Lena W. Leed

Lena W. Leed, 86, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born in East Earl Township to the late Michael and Anna (Wenger) Weaver and was the wife of the late Sherman Leed.

She was a member of Hopeland United Methodist Church, Lititz. During her working years, Lena was a bookkeeper for Superior Walls. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time at the family cabin.

Lena is survived by a stepson, Craig, husband of Debbie Leed; four grandchildren, Stephanie, wife of Troy Shellhammer, Heather Barr, Nick, husband of Jodee Berry, Jessica, wife of Ray Horning; 12 great-grandchildren, Grant, Mae, Karissa, Carson, Landon, Jackson, Trace, Bennett, Keller, Lane, Evan, William; seven siblings, Irwin Weaver, H. Landis, husband of Pauline Weaver, Miriam Snader, Esther, wife of Eugene Sensenig, M. Vernon, husband of Anna Weaver, Ray, husband of Linda Weaver and Roy, husband of Sharon Weaver.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a stepson, David Leed; two brother-in-law, Samuel Martin, Melvin Snader and a sister in law Mary Weaver.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 10 to 11 AM, at Hopeland United Methodist Church, 295 North Clay Road, Lititz, followed by her funeral service at 11 AM, with Pastor Paul Miller officiating. Interment will take place in Hopeland Cemetery.
