It’s with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Lenora “Lennie/Lynn” Widener Hawkins on November 26, 2025. Lennie, as she was affectionately known, was born on August 2, 1958, in Vero Beach, FL to the late Eugene Widener and Lula Mae Fennel and spent most of her life making Florida home.
Known for her strength, honesty, and abundant love, Lennie lived her life with a rare blend of resilience and compassion that left a lasting imprint on everyone she touched. Whether offering straightforward advice, pushing others to see their own potential, or stepping in when it mattered most, Lennie’s presence was undeniable. She will be remembered for her authenticity, her strength and her humor.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sabrina Huntley (Gretchen) and Cassandra Chambers (Kelly), step-sons Brian Hawkins and Chad Hawkins, grandchildren: Asher Huntley, Jaxon Chambers, Kira Hawkins, Tate Hawkins, Alex Hawkins, one great grandson Aspen, beloved nieces Amy Norris and Christina Crowder, and beloved nephew Wyatt Blount. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, niece Heidi Lynn and the love of her life Ralph Hawkins.
