Gathering of family and friends of Leo Cade Boepple, will be Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Tri-County Senior Citizens Center, Covington. A brief committal prayer will be at 2:30 PM, at Covington Cemetery, Arrangements made by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Leo Cade Boepple was born on October 17, 1934, in Covington, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of 91. Born to Chris and Gladys Boepple, Cade grew up in Covington alongside his older brother, Lloyd, and younger brother, Charles. The three brothers remained close throughout their lives.

Cade spent his early years working on the family farm and in the oilfield before serving in the United States Army from 1957-1959. He cherished the memories he made with his Army buddies and often shared stories of his time stationed in Yuma, Arizona. After his service, Cade found his true calling as a lineman, a profession he loved and eventually grew into a successful highline construction company.

Cade shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Polly. Together, they built a beautiful life over their 55 years of marriage, marked by hard work, dedication, and unwavering partnership. A piece of Cade's heart went with her when she preceded him in death in 2015.

In his later years, Cade fulfilled a lifelog dream by becoming a pilot. He spent countless hours at his hangar building airplanes and swapping stories with fellow pilots. After selling his company in 2002, he returned to his farms in Covington, where he enjoyed a quieter life rooted in the community he loved. Cade never met a stranger; he had a natural gift for connecting with people and was blessed with many lifelong friendships.

Cade is survived by his children: Donna Heggen; Vicki Willman and her husband, Richard; and Jimmie Boepple. He was a proud grandfather to Stephen Fernandez, Gina Lopa, and Kari Griffith, and a great-grandfather to Miles and Madox Fernandez, Kealani Lopa, and Anna Griffith. He loved his family deeply, and his steady presence will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Tri-County Senior Citizens Center in Covington, Oklahoma, St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington, or the church of your choice.
