Leo F. Callahan, Jr., 96, passed away peacefully at his home in Berwick, Maine on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Born on November 12, 1928, in Central Falls, Rhode Island, Leo was the son of the late Leo and Alice (Fournier) Callahan.

Leo proudly served his country in the United States Navy and Army. Following his military service, he worked as a draftsman for Hamilton Standard, where he was known for his precision and dedication.

He married the love of his life, Mary E. Quinlan, and together they raised two children, Michael and Kelli. Leo cherished his role as a father and grandfather, always placing his family above all else.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Kelli Clark; his daughter-in-law, Donna; 4 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary, son, Michael, sisters Barbara Brian and Lorraine Chartier

A Family Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Martin Church – St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 120 Maple Street, Somersworth, NH. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Mary New Cemetery in Dover.
