My heartfelt sympathy and prayers pour out to Matt, David, Molly, Helen and the entire Gordon family. Leo was a great example of selfless love. I have admired his commitment to the vows he made in his life and his determination to see it through to its conclusion, not out of duty but out of love and compassion. I learned so much from him just watching from the sidelines and hearing the stories of how he cared for Paula from my uncle Wilbur. The comfort and assurance he got knowing his daughter received the greatest care humanly possible from a loving husband brought him great peace and joy. Leo did this quietly and humbly and I am sure that he received the greatest reward man can receive and that´s the gratitude and peace of a pleased Lord as he was welcome into his rest.
I like to take and apply the good I see in others and apply it to my life, Leo has given me a lot to achieve and I am thankful for that.
Sincerely
Rance

Leo served on the bank board that hired me when I moved to Tomah. Over the years, he became a friend and confidante. My favorite memory is when we toured a bog. I climbed down, my heels sunk in and I couldn't get back up the hill. Leo tried to pull me out; the harder he pulled, the more we laughed and the weaker we got.
I finally crawled out and he looked at me with a straight face and a twinkle in his eye and said, " Cranberries are a serious business". My heartfelt sympathy to the family. He was a remarkable man and will be sorely missed in this community.
