Leo Hardison Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sommerville Funeral Services - Akron on Apr. 26, 2024.
Leo Lou Hardison 44, passed away on April 25, 2024. Leo was born March 11, 1980, to Diane and Darnell Hardison. Leo attended Akron Public Schools and Kenmore High School.
Leo was a beautiful person inside and out and everyone who knew him knows that looking fabulous outside was everything to him. Leo was always dressed to impress and looking "fly" and he loved the color red. His appearance was important, but he was not shallow or superficial. His love for his family was the most real. He loved his children, and he was an excellent father. Leo was real and always kept it real. Where there was Leo there was always J.R., his brother. They were always together, like twins.
He is preceded in death by; great grandparents, Perline Coney and Nellie Hardison; great grandfathers, Douglas Coney, and Robert Hardison; grandmother, Ann Bledsoe; grandfathers, Thomas Bledsoe, William (Bill) Powers; brothers, Pashawn Bledsoe; sister, Vernell Corn.
He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Diane (Mike) Hardison; Father, Darnell Hardison Sr.; daughters, Daishanai Covington and Leasia Hardison; stepdaughter, Lennix Stevens; sons Leo Hardison Jr, Maki Hardison; grandmother, Melva Lee Hardison; sisters, Desi Brewer, Darnetta Bledsoe, Audrey "Ronnetta" Bledsoe, and Latoya Ware; brothers, Dazzal Corn, Darnell Hardison Jr., Terrance Hardison, Jason Hardison, Cleo Hardison, Windell Hardison, Garland Toney and Davion Toney, children's mothers, Marissa Covington, Aliza Williams, Kia Columbus; special friend, who stood by Leo 24/7, Ericka Harris; big-cousin, Darnessa Lavender; god-father Babe Fields; and a multitude of other cousins, family and friends.
Friends may call on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320. Funeral service will immediately follow. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery.

Sending you my prayers and sincerest condolences for your loss, I still remember Leo when he was around 4 or 5 years old and him always wanting a hamburger but he could never pronounce it right he would always say hambuger, he would leave the r out of burger but he sounded so cute saying it though. But him and JR were always together and people always thought that they were twins, I know that he will be missed but he will no longer be in pain or suffering and he´s resting in Gods arms.
