I first saw Leo play guitar almost 30 years ago. That night I wanted to break the neck off my guitar, he was that good.
Over the last 10 or so years, we started going to shows together including to see a few Jazz greats in NYC. I will truly miss him. He was a good man and a great guitarist.

Sincerest condolences to Leo's family and friends. What a terrible and terribly sad loss.
You have chosen a perfect photo of his smile - so easy to remember well!
Although it's been too many years, we did make some fine music together and I will hold those fabulous memories (even when he wasn't exactly sure where I landed in the tune). He kept making his guitar sing with me, and smiling...
Godspeed, old musical friend.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend Leo jordan Jr. I first met Leo while he was playing guitar for The Agents at Uncle Roy's Halloween party in Clifton. I believe the year was 1990. I have enjoyed his talents many times and many places since then, most notably at B.B.King's in Manhattan. Leo was always kind, polite, fun and a pleasure to be around. He will be deeply missed by many. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
