Leo Nadeau Obituary
Leo grew up in Augusta where he received his education. For most of his life, he was self-employed in excavation, operating heavy equipment.
On June 9, 1962, he married Rita M. Beaulieu and the two made their home in Augusta.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Rita M. Nadeau; his children, Daniel Nadeau and his wife Lisa, David Nadeau and his partner, Laurie Burtt, Patrick Nadeau and his wife, Trish, Paul Nadeau, and Lynda Holt and her husband, Chad; grandchildren, Tiffany Wood, Thomas Nadeau, Nicole Morse, Julie Norwood, Heather Ouellette, Matthew Nadeau, and Carter Holt; several great grandchildren; and siblings, Norman Nadeau and his wife, Rolanda, and Jeannine Nelson.
The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to Wendy and Trish on the Comfort Care Unit at MaineGeneral at Glenridge, for the wonderful care they provided to Leo.
Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Leo's name may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org
Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME 04330.
