To the family, many, many friends and colleagues of this wonderful artist Mr. Leo D. Sullivan fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives. Mr. Leo D. Sullivan was a pioneering black animator whose credits included the intro to “Soul Train.” Thank you for Leo D. Sullivan's contribution also to the fan-favorite animation of the Soul Train show. May the love and the special memory you shared and cherish with his show just how much your life was touched by him. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together. May Almighty God in the Heavens comfort your hearts with peace and loving kindness as you cope with this precious loss in your lives. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

Mr. Sullivan did incredible work that brought a new look to animation. He was an inspiration to others that would come after him. Sincere condolences to the Sullivan family, may God help you in your time of loss.

Mr. Sullivan's work was very unique, creative and fun. A groundbreaking master animator, indeed. RIP, Sir.
