Leola Adams-Hartley Obituary
The daughter of Clyde Owen and Pearl Irene (Heimuller) Adams, she was born August 5, 1931 in Cullison, Kansas. Lee attended school in Cullison, graduating with the Class of 1951. Lee was a homemaker, and worked as a dental assistant with Dr. Bohlander, DDS in Guymon for over 20 years, retiring in August of 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Pearl Adams; daughter, Cathy Jean (Hilliard) Mullen; sister, Donna Lou Hager; daughter-in-law, Becky Hilliard; son-in-law, Jeff Nelson and grandson, Josh Pearce.
Survivors include four children: Terry Hilliard of Goodwell, Oklahoma, Lynette Kae Nelson of Guymon, Rick Hilliard of Guymon and Wayne Nelson also of Guymon. Survivors also include one brother, Richard Adams of Pratt, Kansas, fourteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning, January 7th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor David Player officiating. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
The Hartley family request memorials in lieu of flowers be given to Wounded Warrior Project or your charity of choice. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942. Friends can sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com.
