Ms. Procell, age 86 of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 18, 2025 at the Lexington House, Alexandria.

Leola Procell, better known as "Lee" was born to Jim and Louvenia Procell in Shreveport, La., on November 17, 1938. She has a twin sister Creola, known as "Cookie". She was brought up and lived a country life which led to her love of the outdoors. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and cooking. At only a little over 5', she would pull the deer out the woods herself and clean them as well. She was a wonderful cook and passed down her love of cooking to her daughter, granddaughters and great granddaughters. She loved the Lord, The Pentecostals of Alexandria, and listening to Christian music. She retired from Libbey Glass where she worked for many years. She will be dearly missed, although we know she lives an eternal life with Jesus.

A special thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice for the love and mercy they provided, and to Hailey and Starla for the love and joy you gave maw-maw in her final days.

Leola is preceded in death by her sons, Sammy Ray Blankenship and Gary Randall Blankenship, her parents, Jim and Louvenia Procell, her brothers, Floyd, Elmo, Hubert, Clayton, Steve, Louis "Gail", and Joe "Chick" Procell, her sisters, June Harley, Louise Strange, Verna Moore, Verda Anderson and Ida Mae Reese.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bordelon, her sons, Kenneth and Mark Blankenship, her sisters, Jane Borden, Creola "Cookie" Sepulvado and Paula Thompson, and one brother, Paul Procell "Linda", grandchildren, Theresa Bordelon, Alicia Crenshaw (Mike), Stacy Cook (Casey), Philip Bordelon (Miranda) Lacey Blankenship, Amanda Blankenship, Samantha Blankenship, Savanah Blankenship, Nicholas Blankenship and Shelby Blankenship, great grandchildren, Nicholas Bordelon, Hailey Nick, Tanner Landry, Taylor Landry, Kameron Gurunlian, Hunter Nick, Haidyn Bordelon, Chassidy Racca, Bailyn, Bordelon, Evan Reichardt and Joseph Blankenship, great grand children, Brooklyn Bordelon, Nicholas Bordelon Jr., Gavin Blankenship and Aaron Blankenship.
