Leon and I were friends in California. I knew him as a good friend up until he moved. We were fierce competitors at the bowling alley, where we spent many hours playing hooky from our respective ( I was a painter, too) projects. We would exchange phone numbers of our clients and had a secret phone system for getting in touch with each other for our bowling “lunches”. The loser had to pay for the winners games. I usually took two out of three ( ha ha Leon if you’re reading this from where ever you are). Spent many weekends cooking with he and Julie ( and our buddy Hank who lived in the same property as them. Still think of him and am sad to see this announcement. We shared many laughs together... belated condolences to family and friends..

This is an incredibly moving tribute. I did not know Leon after high school graduation but the beauty, joy, authenticity, and deep humanity that you describe were clearly there when I knew him. My deepest condolences for this terrible loss.

Dear Mary Zeta, Zeta and the Angelich Families & Extended Families,
I was a USAF Pilot Classmate (54-H) with Leon P. Angelich Sr.
I didn't know all of the family members but I did know Leon Paul Jr's mother Mary Zeta and her daughter Zeta. However, I was aware of the other brothers & sisters of Leon Paul Jr through my emails with Mary Z & Zeta.
I send my sincere condolences to all of the Angelich families. Trust God to ease your loss with the passage of time and the love & precious memories never be forgotten.
May Leon Paul Jr. "Rest in Peace".

Dear Romie and family, I am so very sorry to hear this sad news about Leon's passing. I know the grief must be unbearable to lose two siblings on the same day, even if years apart. I hope you find comfort knowing that Lauren was waiting to greet him on the other side.
I will always remember Leon as kind, handsome, smart and so funny. He was quick to flash his smile and always enjoyed making others laugh. I seem to recall Leon driving around in a huge family car, plenty of room for friends, and always willing to give anyone a ride. I remember the family home-full of love and laughter and loudness. What a wonderful way to grow up.
Leon was full of life and didn't let a moment pass him by! He was a hard worker and talented. He and Cheo remodeled a few of my dad's rental houses, so I can attest to their workmanship.
I have no doubt that Leon is with the angels, and entertaining them all with his funny quips. I am sure he is also looking down on his loved ones, his children especially.
Wishing you all peace until you meet again.
My deepest sympathy,
Janet

Leon the King...also excelled at Crown Molding. He helped change our very hum drum boring and darkly paneled living space into a bright, white open concept home...with stylish crown molding and many other recommendations. Above all else, he was fun to have around and his smile and laugh were truly genuine and infectious. We'll miss you buddy!

Dear Lori and all of yours and Leons family...I am so very sorry for your loss. Leon was a great sport when all the ladies came to the house for Red Hats cook out and he would cook some of the finest food for us all. He actually enjoyed having us all there and joining in the fun with us. He will be missed by all but I know you will miss him the most. Love and healing for all. Louann McLaughlin
