Leon’s personality radiated kindness, and he was a true family man who inspired those around him with his generosity and.
Leon was a high school graduate who pursued some college education, laying the foundation for a successful career as a foreman. Throughout his life, he not only excelled in his professional endeavors but also embraced the joys of life. He loved to travel and cherished the time spent with his family, forming bonds that will be remembered fondly.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Marilyn Carter; his mother, Mary Carter; and his children: Nicole Carter, Leon Carter, Jr, Leonard Cox, Willie Smith, Marcus Smith, Truly Fuller, and Erica Fuller. His legacy will continue to live on through them.
Leon also leaves behind the cherished memory of his late father, Henry Carter.
The family will hold a viewing on September 5, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following this, a funeral service will take place on September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the same location.
