Uncle Lee was tough as nails, he survived his fight with cancer and I' m convinced that the cancer wishes it never messed with him. I'll always have the memory of him and my dad puffing on their pipes as if it was the family duty. Lee had a laugh that seemed always twinged with humor and sarcasm, which I believe came from a place of strength and fortitude. He wasn't the type of person to lay quietly, he would confront and persevere.
My condolences to the family, friends and all who knew him.
