Leon Bernard Mudd was born on November 30, 1936, in Gonzalez, Texas, to George and Carlena (Knippa) Mudd. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 9, 2025, in Wells, Texas, at the age of 88.
Leon was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was also a Fourth Degree Member of Knights of Columbus, Council 9564 Assembly 2816.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Mudd and wife Karen; daughter, Gloria (Mudd) Gresham and husband Scott; sister, Wanda Rossow; grandsons, Joshua Gresham, Nicholas Gresham, Matthew Gresham, Corey Mudd, and Chad Mudd; great grandchildren, Sophie Gresham, Myles Gresham, Remy Gresham, Kitt Gresham, Oliver Gresham, Skyler Mudd, Angelina Mudd, Emily Mudd, Chloe Mudd and Rayleigh Mudd; as well as numerous other family members and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Alice Pearl Mudd; parents, George and Carlena Mudd; sister, Gladys Mudd; brothers, Alvin Mudd, Delmer Mudd, Clarence Mudd, Marvin Mudd, Deo Mudd and Hershal Mudd; and great- grandson, Connor Mudd.
