My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy, Mark & Jarod. Leon will always be remembered as the one who taught me the most about business and paying attention to all the details.....especially about the people. He always pushed for just a little more and a little more. I feel fortunate to have worked for and gotten to know Leon and am a stronger person for it.......he raised the "D" in my profile giving me a more successful future.

Leon;
We shared many memories as buddies in high school and as fellow owners of 63(me) & 65(you) super sports.
Now that you belong to the ages, as the Romans would say, May those happy memories of yesteryear remain with you forever, as they will with me.
Rest my friend and my God be with your family.

I was saddened to hear of Leon's passing. Prayers of condolence go out to Kathy, Mark, Jared and their families. Leon was a fine man and a great teacher. Having the opportunity to work for and with Leon for twenty years has given me many memories, fond ones and not so fond ones, but I will cherish all of them. Leon was a man who wanted all of us to work at and exceed our boundaries as people. He always wanted you to do more, see more, ask more questions, to try and be the best you could be. He was willing to invest in you if you were willing to do the work that needed done. When we would go out to the sites together, he would sometimes talk about issues that troubled him, on how to love his family and respect the choices they made in their lives. So to Kathy, Mark, Jared and all those grandkids-know how much he loved all of you. I loved him too...

I offer my most sincere condolences to Leon's family and the entire L.E.W. Community. Leon was quite a unique and rare individual in the way he committed his life's work to excellence in his sector of the construction industry. The core values he expressed and passed along to many of us I'm confident will prevail for generations yet to come. I'm just thankful for the time I was able to spend with him and the conversations we had........Rest In Peace Leon.
