Leona Houting

Leona was a peach of a lady. I am so sorry to hear of her passing just recently. She was the most caring dry cleaner I went to. I pray for her family.

Although I never met Leona Houting, I "knew" her through her daughter, Mary, and realized what a caring, devoted wife and mother she was. Reading more about her I am impressed by her integrity, kindness, and godly life lived in humility and dedication to her Lord. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. I pray for the God of all Comfort to give peace and comfort as they grieve their loss.

what a wonderful Christian woman ! Mrs. Leona Houting's grace and love has been influenced us through her daughter, Mary Houting Kim in Chicago . May God's comfort and peace be with all her family .

Dearest Leona and Vern, Many, many times we left off our treasured clothing to you and vern, who both handled it as if it were their own. We will miss your smiling face at Maplewood, but know that that care remains with your son and successor!

Truly the sweetest, happiest woman I knew. Just loved being around her spunk! Fabulous memories from many years of swim meets, seeing her downtown, at the grocery, etc. my heart breaks for the whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
