Leonard Berlin MD

Leonard Berlin, MD, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. Loving son of the late Irving and Beatrice (nee Barth) Berlin; adored husband of 69 years to Phyllis (nee Panitch), beloved father to Steve, Paul, Robert (Carolyn) and Jonathan (Tricia), treasured grandfather to Stephanie, Brett, Juliana (Joshua O'Neil), Courtney, Amanda, Madeleine, Samantha, and Madeline, and fond brother of Howard (Norma) Berlin, MD. He was a mentor to many, a prodigious scholar and lecturer, and practicing radiologist for 55 years. He leaves a respected legacy for radiologists and attorneys alike, and enjoyed humor, travel, and most importantly his family and friends. Funeral Sunday September 7, 1:30 p.m. at Beth Hillel Bnai Emunah 3220 Big Tree Lane, Wilmette. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery-Norridge.
