Leonard Denbo Obituary
of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 96. He was born August 8, 1929, in Camden, NJ. He was the husband of the late Sandra Denbo (nee Okun) who was from New York City; son of the late Simon Denbo and the late Rose Denbo (nee Dubinsky); brother of Grace Denbo and Rita Denbo who currently live in Vorhees, NJ, and the late Maurice Denbo.
Lenny graduated High School in Camden, NJ in 1947. He worked in the family business, Simon Denbo and Sons Confectioners in Camden, NJ, and later worked as a bookkeeper for Bagliani's Market in Hammonton, NJ.
Lenny was a longtime resident (54 years) in the Kingston Estates section of Cherry Hill, where he and his wife Sandy formed lasting friendships with many wonderful neighbors. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who often spoke with friends and relatives weekly to discuss wins and losses by the Phillies, Sixers and Eagles.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, his two sisters Grace and Rita who turn 100 years old this year, and the many friends who will miss Lenny very much.
Relatives and friends are invited Monday, February 16, 2026, beginning 10:30AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc., 2001 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 where funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00AM. The Funeral Services will also be live streamed on Leonard's Memorial Page at www.plattmemorial.com
Burial will follow at Crescent Memorial Park in Pennsauken, NJ.
