Leonard William "Len" Hartel

Leonard "Len" William Hartel was born on august 9, 1942. On February 20, 2026, he went home to be with the lord, reunited with his beloved late wife, Karen Hartel. He was preceded by parents Verle and Margaret Hartel, and sister Peggy fields and survived by sister Donna Robinette, children eric Hartel (Lisa), Traci schreiner (ken), "bonus" children Kimberly Todek, Shannon Gustafson (Jim), Brian bowman, 17 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Len proudly served his country as a technical sergeant (sgt) in the United States air force and was a Vietnam veteran. He carried himself with strength, integrity, and quiet honor - qualities that marked both his military service and his life at home.

He was a man who loved his country, his family, and the simple, meaningful moments of life. Whether under wide desert skies or surrounded by those he loved most, Len lived with courage, faith, and steadfast devotion.

His favorite colors - red, white, and blue - reflected his deep patriotism and the pride he carried in serving his nation.
