Leonard Jackson Layne, 88, of Staunton, formerly of Rustburg, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
A Celebration of Leonard's Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2025, in the chapel at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with the Rev. Roger Roller officiating. Interment will be held privately at Cumbie Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In honor of Leonard's vibrant spirit and "snazzy" attire, the family requests guests add a pop of bright, joyful color.
